Morana

I've been wanting to draw her literally for years now and for some reason it never would work. Now, inspired by a dragon on FLightRising that I want to rename to Marzana or Morana, I just got to my trusty program and did draw her for 2-3 hours max.

There's a few things I'm really happy about - first, this is probably my very first elderly person I'm drawing digitally. And secondly - I managed to make her both non-beautiful and somehow majestic at the same time. At least that's how I see it.
The necklace is supposed to represent ice/snow; the crown of branches, tipped with snow - both that and death. And the sickle can be representative of harvest time and death at the same time. I did a small wolf on the handle because of the Dirty Days - Wolf Days - in December, the moon is there for the same reason.

The Thing that bothered me the most when looking for references? Most make her a pretty young woman. She is supposed to be old. scary. cold. Like a Goddess of Death should be.
